This is where you will find news, announcements and items of interest that are either not "Calendar of Events" items for a specific date, or else they are highlights to draw your attention to upcoming events on the calendar.

MILITARY BULLETIN BOARD
We now have a Military bulletin board on the wall across from the Office. Here you will find news, updates, and prayer requests, etc. concerning those who serve in our nation's armed forces. Special emphasis is on 2 young men who are part of or related to our own church family.

REGULARLY SCHEDULED EVENTS

Occasionally a meeting is rescheduled due to vacations, etc.)

WEEKLY:
Sundays 9:30 - 11 AM (approx.):
* Worship Service in Sanctuary
* Coffee & fellowship immediately after the service in Collins Hall
* Classes after coffee time

Mondays 7-9 PM:
* Intercessors Group meets in the Prayer Room.

Tuesdays (*NEW* - now meeting on the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays of the month) at 7:30 PM:
* Healing Prayer Service meets in the Sanctuary
(open to the public - please join us!)
Come and pray with us for for a healing touch from the Lord Jesus for needs of body, soul & spirit.

Wednesdays 7:30 PM:
* Choir Rehearsal meets in the Sanctuary

Thursdays 9:00 - 10:30 AM:
* Pastor Jim's Bible Study

Fridays:
* Pastor Wheeler's day off

MONTHLY:
1st Sunday of the Month:
* Communion Service
* Deacons' Fund Collection
* Bring Non-perishable Food to Collins Hall for Canton Food Bank

(*NEW* - now meeting on Communion Sunday, Second Hour)
 * Communications Forum meets approx. 11:30 AM in Sanctuary

2nd Thursday of the Month:
* Evangelism Task Force meets 6:00 PM in Collins Hall
(Bring a bag supper and join us!)

One Saturday of the Month:
* Unionville Small Group meets at the Hansons home for Brunch

LAST Saturday of the Month:
* Prayer Ministries Exploratory group meets 10:00 AM -12:00 at church
(Unless rescheduled due to other events: check with church office or Rose Beaudry)

SOUP-A-THON IS FEB. 7!!!
Dust off your crockpots, and haul out your recipe books...
You are invited to make a crockpot full of your favorite wonderful soup to contribute to this annual fund-raiser sponsored by Kids for Christ, for the benefit of the Canton Food Bank. ) Please let Jackie Hanson know if you're bringing soup and what kind, so we set up enough serving stations, and she will also make a sign with the name of your soup.

Bring the soup to Collins Hall and plug in your crockpot to run during the morning service. After the service (approximately 11 AM) we'll go to Collins Hall, where you'll don an apron and serve your delicious hot soup to hungry gourmet churchgoers! For a donation to the Food Bank of any amount, (whether or not you have brought soup yourself) you may fill up a take-out soup container (provided) with your choice of soup to take home, along with scrumptious bread and rolls donated by area bakeries.
You REALLY need to come to this event, it's YUM CITY!!! (and for a great cause!)
