Collinsville Congregational Church

Conservative Congregational Christian Conference

Now you can get the Sunday sermons / messages online!
They will be available here for download to your computer in MP3 format, which any computer should be able to play, using Windows Media Player or another audio player on your computer.
(The messages will usually be available within the week or 2 after the message was originally given, due to editing and uploading time required, plus the editor's very full schedule! Remember, patience is a fruit of the Spirit!)
Click on the name of the desired message to get to the audio page.
Then click on "Listen Now" to listen online; a mini media player window will open and start playing the message.
OR, Click on "Download Now", which will bring you to the Media Download" window. Then you may
download and save the file to your computer before listening. Follow the directions there to down load your file. (If you are using Firefox instead of Internet Explorer, right click on the Download Now link and choose Save Link As".)

Files are between 5-10 MB in size depending on the message, so they will take a long time to download if you have a slow dial-up connection, but they are worth it!!!
Then you can do wonderful things like:
* Listen to it over and over (you always catch more the second time...)
*Load the MP3 file to a portable MP3 player and take it with you to listen on the run
*Burn an audio CD using Windows Media Player
(The messages are around 30-40 minutes long each; you could probably fit two different messages on one 700 MB / 80 minute CD.)
*(Hey, burn a CD and share the message with someone-or-two-or-three!)

Contact the Web Servant: (for website problems/ questions/ comments/ suggestions/ offers of chocolate, etc.) ccc_webservant@ymail.com

(NOTE Occasionally, the very end of the message will be cut off, if the service runs longer than usual... that's because we record the entire service onto a CD, and it can only hold 80 minutes.
Also, sometimes (rarely) the Sunday service doesn't record successfully, and we end up with a blank CD instead of a recording, so we cannot post those messages. So far, this has happened on the following dates: 4/20/08, 4/27/08, and 5/23/08. Please pray that our recording equipment works correctly on Sunday mornings,; the enemy likes to try to interfere in this area!)

~Thank you for your patience!~
We are finally making progress with the function of our audio streaming service. Many more recent sermons will be added to the archive in the coming weeks.

(Apologies for the involved navigation and odd layout; that's all controlled by the web streaming service and we have no control over it...)
